We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher for our Nursery provision at Avanti Gardens, working specifically with our 2–3 year old class at a vital stage in their early development. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact, nurturing young children through engaging, play-based learning that supports their curiosity, confidence and wellbeing.
You will take responsibility for the learning, development and care of the children in your class, using observation and assessment to shape meaningful experiences that meet the needs of every child. Creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment will be central to your practice, alongside building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will work closely with colleagues and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, while promoting the school’s ethos and ensuring the very best outcomes for every child.

Avanti Gardens is a primary school situated in Fishponds, Bristol. The school is housed in a beautiful campus, that was previously an all-through school, and before that part of Bristol University, which means it has many facilities that primary schools don’t, like a full-size auditorium and sports hall.
