Avanti is working with a long-established UK software business based in Blackburn who is looking for a Software Developer to join its growing development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Java Developer who enjoys solving technical problems, modernising systems and contributing ideas within a collaborative engineering environment.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving existing Java applications while also contributing to future-facing projects involving APIs, integrations and modern development practices.
You’ll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, including:
- Developing and maintaining Java applications
