Are you passionate about turning data into insights that drive strategic decision-making? We’re looking for a Student Business Analyst to join our team on a 13-month placement, playing a key role in supporting major initiatives across Revenue Management, Sales & Distribution, and Marketing. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of strategic and analytical projects, helping the business understand the impact of new products, promotional activities, pricing changes, and wider commercial decisions. Your analysis will directly influence strategy and help shape the commercial direction of the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analysing and reporting on revenue, volume, overcrowding and distribution trends across the network.
- Manipulating and interpreting large datasets to produce clear, actionable insights for commercial stakeholders.
- Building robust business cases and business models to predict the impact of upcoming changes and initiatives.
- Clearly communicating trends, insights and recommendations to colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
- Supporting key initiatives within the Commercial team by delivering accurate and timely analytical outputs.
- Assessing and interpreting the effects of key changes to help inform future commercial and strategic decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into meaningful insight.
- Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations in a clear, engaging way.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with large datasets.
- Experience using analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar) is desirable.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to support colleagues across multiple departments.
