Our stations team at Rugby is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Talent bank of Customer Service Assistants - Various roles and Contracts. The Talent Bank will cover Platform, Retail, and Multifunctional roles across a range of contract types, including full-time, part-time, permanent, Secondment and fixed-term positions. Salaries will vary depending on the role.

Our Stations Customer Service Assistants are committed to keeping our customers safe at the station and play a vital role in keeping the network moving seamlessly.

In this role you can bring your authentic self to make our customers' experience memorable as they travel through our stations. We want you to be you! As a Customer Service Assistant on a station, you will:

  • Provide travel assistance, information and guidance to customers throughout the station including on platforms, concourse and all public areas.
  • Take initiative in problem solving and providing reassurance to customers.
  • Ensure the safe and punctual dispatch of all services.
  • Keep colleagues and customers safe through completing safety checks on the station.
  • Be an ambassador for the company by going above and beyond for our customers.

Please note Platform and Multifunctional roles are safety critical positions and you will need to pass a safety critical medical and a safety awareness assessment to be considered for these roles. Retail roles are non-safety critical and only new entrants will require a medical (unless multifunctional). Training will be provided.
