We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Training Release Coordinator to join our Resource Team, supporting the delivery of the CEX Workshop Project. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and coordination skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across multiple teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating workforce releases across three different grades, working closely with Traincrew, Catering, and Station Planning teams to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and project support to the Resource Team, ensuring the efficient management of workforce releases.
- Coordinate release activities and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and challenges throughout the release process.
- Collaborate with the Resource Team to develop, maintain, and monitor release plans, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
- Organise and distribute invitations for workshop sessions, confirming attendance and managing follow-up actions for employees who have not attended previous sessions.
- Proactively audit release plans and provide timely updates, reports, and recommendations to the Resource Team and Project Manager.
- Support wider project management activities through effective administration, prioritisation, and coordination across departments.
- Use initiative and sound judgement to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and respond to changing priorities.
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Learning & Development Team as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating schedules, resources, or project activities in a busy environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing competing priorities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience supporting projects or workforce planning activities would be advantageous.
