Our Onboard team at Liverpool are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Talent bank of Customer Service Assistants. Here at Avanti West Coast, we are raising the bar on providing excellent customer service across the communities we serve. No two days on the railway are the same, with over 500,000 customers travelling on our network weekly, our Customer Service Assistants play a vital role in making a difference to our customers journey whether that is selling them refreshments from the Onboard shop or delivering an exceptional at‑seat service of our wonderful range of food and drinks in First Class. In this role you will have a chance to share your spark and make our customers experience memorable as they travel across the network. This is an important role for us, so we really need the right person. We don\’t just want someone who can answer questions, we want a team player who can help customers on their way with a cheerful smile.

To excel in this role, you will have:

• The ability to always provide a high level of excellent customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to solve problems and think on your feet.
• A positive and proactive approach to the way you work.
• Excellent communication skills.
