Purpose: Pharmacy Assistants work with the Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:
- Compounding Sterile Preparations in compliance with P&Ps and standards set by the company.
- Calculate and supply clean room staff with ingredients that are required for compounding.
- Label final containers and pack orders for delivery.
- Support pharmacists during the final check.
- Calibrate, monitor, and maintain equipment inside and outside of the clean room.
- Receive and place orders of medications, solutions and supplies on the shelves and maintain inventory.
- Organise and maintain the work area inside and outside of the clean room.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of technical training required.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques is an asset.
- Experience working in a clean room environment is an asset.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and productivity.
- Reliability, strong communication, organisational skills, customer service, initiative, teamwork, sound judgement, interpersonal skills are essential.
- Commitment to high standards.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a faster pace environment.
- Must have computer skills.
