Purpose:

Job Title: Delivery Driver
Location: Kingston
Reports to: Operations Manager
No. of Positions: 1
ATR: 4746
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hourly Rate: $19/hr
Shift: M-F 12:30pm-9:00pm and every 4th weekend rotation of 12:30pm-3pm

Job Responsibilities:

1. Deliver/pick-up equipment, medication or supply parcels
2. Assemble medical equipment
3. Complete and submit delivery documentation/paperwork
4. Use of computer scanner technology
5. Complete pre/post trip vehicle inspection
6. Communicate with clients regarding parcel delivery and pick up
7. Load/unload vehicle using safe lifting practices
8. Report delivery issues to dispatcher and/or Customer Service Representatives
9. Candidates must demonstrate organization, flexibility, adaptability, and sound time management skills.
10. Must be computer literate
11. Commitment to deliver excellent internal and external customer service

Qualifications:

1. Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
2. Experience with assembly and installation of home medical equipment is an asset
3. Must be able to lift upwards to 75lbs
4. Completion of Secondary Education
5. Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a delivery driver
6. Good knowledge of the region
7. Health and safety awareness training is an asset
8. Clean Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check is required
9. Must have active full driver’s license in Ontario and produce a clean driver’s abstract; company vehicle will be provided
