Purpose:
- Job Title: Equipment Delivery Driver
- Location: Scarborough
- Reports to: Operations Manager
- No. of Positions: 4
- ATR: 4700
- Type: Casual, 6 month contract
- Hourly Rate: $19/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver/pick-up equipment, medication or supply parcels
- Assemble medical equipment
- Complete and submit delivery documentation/paperwork
- Use of computer scanner technology
- Complete pre/post trip vehicle inspection
- Communicate with clients regarding parcel delivery and pick up
- Load/unload vehicle using safe lifting practices
- Report delivery issues to dispatcher and/or Customer Service Representatives
- Demonstrate organization, flexibility, adaptability, and sound time management skills
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
- Experience with assembly and installation of home medical equipment is an asset
- Must be able to lift upwards to 75lbs
- Completion of Secondary Education
- Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a delivery driver
- Good knowledge of the region
- Health and safety awareness training is an asset
- Clean Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check is required
- Must have active full driver's license in Ontario and produce a clean driver's abstract; company vehicle will be provided
