About us and the role
Are you a highly organised, compassionate, and proactive SEND Administrator? If so, we would love for you to come and join our team where you will play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work closely with our SENDCo, staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.
As our SEND Administrator, you will be central to the smooth running of SEND provision across the school. You will provide high‑quality administrative support to the SENDCo, maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records, assist with statutory processes, and help ensure we meet all legal requirements under SEND legislation. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine desire to support young people with additional needs. School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.
What will you do?
- Support the SENDCo with the SEND identification, assessment, monitoring, and the review process ensuring all records are updated regularly.
- Complete administration of student referrals and support the SENDCo in preparing for a range of meetings with external agencies.
- Collate data for SEND students’ identification, progress, target setting, monitoring and intervention purposes.
- Ensure all information about students with SEND is recorded and filed correctly so that it is available to teaching staff to support teaching and learning.
