We're working with an innovative deep-tech R&D company in Ely that is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

You'll be developing advanced sensing and measurement technology, taking ownership of electronics from concept and architecture through design, PCB development, prototype bring-up, testing and production.

This is a hands-on R&D position with a strong focus on low-noise analogue and mixed-signal electronics, alongside high-speed digital design.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong analogue circuit design experience
  • Low-noise amplifiers, filtering and signal conditioning
  • Mixed-signal and high-speed digital electronics
  • FPGA and microcontroller-based hardware
  • Complex multi-layer PCB design
  • Signal integrity, controlled impedance and length matching
  • Hands-on board bring-up, debugging and laboratory testing
  • Full-lifecycle commercial electronics development

Experience with Altium Designer is preferred, while previous RF/high-frequency electronics experience would be a major advantage.

Backgrounds in scientific instrumentation, sensing, test and measurement, medical devices, imaging, ultrasound or similar complex electronics environments would be particularly relevant.
