A growing technology company is seeking an RF Team Lead to take ownership of a specialist RF engineering team while remaining actively involved in the design and development of advanced communication systems. This role combines technical leadership with hands‑on RF design, ideal for someone who enjoys leading engineers while staying close to the detail.
The Role
- Lead and develop a team of RF engineers
- Provide technical direction and support across RF design activities
- Remain hands‑on with component‑level RF design and development
- Oversee RF subsystem design including transmitters, receivers, and related circuitry
- Support project delivery, integration, and technical problem‑solving
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in RF design and development
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Hands-on approach to RF engineering, including testing and debugging
- Experience with RF simulation tools (e.g. ADS, CST, HFSS or similar)
- Ability to contribute technically while managing a team
Key Requirement
- Deep expertise in at least one core RF discipline, with the ability to lead technically in that area:
- RF transmitters
- RF receivers
- Power amplifiers
- Frequency generation / synthesis
