We re looking for a Product Electronics Engineer to join an innovative engineering company developing advanced monitoring and control products used by electricity utilities across the UK and internationally.
This is a varied, hands-on engineering role where you ll work across the full product lifecycle, supporting the development, testing and introduction of products used within critical national infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical engineering and wants exposure to the complete product lifecycle rather than being limited to one area of electronics.
You ll be part of a small engineering team where you ll have genuine ownership, influence product development and work on technology that helps support the UK s transition to smarter, more resilient energy networks.
The Role Working closely with the wider engineering team, you ll be involved in a broad range of activities including: * Developing product requirements and technical specifications. * System-level design and product development. * Product verification, testing and validation. * Managing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs). * Supporting new product introduction into manufacture. * Working with suppliers to evaluate new technologies and components. * Environmental, EMC and regulatory testing. * Producing technical documentation. * Supporting continuous improvement...
