Avanti Recruitment is working with a precision engineering business based near Oxford that is expanding it's CNC machining team. I'm interested in speaking with CNC Millers / Mill-Turners who have CNC programming experience, and are comfortable manufacturing varied precision-engineered components. They work with partners in the Medical, Semi-Conductor, Nuclear and Scientific industries. The Role Working as part of an experienced machining team, you'll be involved in producing a varied range of precision components rather than repetitive, high-volume production. The role will involve: * CNC milling and/or mill-turn machining * CNC programming * Manufacturing components from engineering drawings * Working accurately to tight tolerances * Producing varied, precision-engineered components * Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the machining process What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from CNC machinists with: * CNC milling or mill-turn experience * CNC programming experience * Experience working to tight tolerances * Good engineering drawing interpretation skills * A background in precision engineering, aerospace or a similar engineering environment * Experience with FANUC * Experience with 3, 4 or 5 Axis machining Experience with 5-axis machining, Heidenhain or CAM programming would be useful, but is not essential for this position. Working Hours * Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm * Friday: 7:00am to 2:30pm Salary is £20-£23 per hour (£40-£7k) This is a permanent opportunity to join an established precision engineering company offering varied machining work and long-term career stability.
