A global engineering and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Plant Production Manager to lead shift-based manufacturing teams within a highly specialised industrial production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader with experience managing people, driving production performance, and maintaining high Health & Safety and quality standards within manufacturing.

You will oversee production operations across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring teams deliver against production schedules while maintaining operational excellence. The role combines:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage shift-based production teams
  • Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved
  • Drive Health & Safety and Quality compliance
  • Manage performance, absence, investigations, and disciplinary processes
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Monitor operational KPIs and team performance
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and support teams
  • Coach and develop production staff

Package

  • £60,000 - £68,000 salary
  • 12.5% bonus
  • £6,120 car allowance
  • 37.5-hour working week
  • 4-day shift rotation
  • Long midweek breaks

Shift Pattern

  • Days: Friday to Monday, 07:00 - 17:30
  • Nights: Friday to Monday, 19:00 - 05:30
  • Tuesday to Thursday off
