A growing North East London company is looking for a hands-on Automation QA Engineer to join their technology team. The role focuses on strengthening their automation capability and improving the quality of their customer-facing and internal systems. This is a full-time, fully onsite position (5 days per week).
The Role
You will work closely with the development and QA teams to expand and maintain an established automation framework. The position is suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on automation work and improving test coverage and stability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing automated UI tests using C#, SpecFlow and Selenium
- Maintaining and improving existing automated tests
- Working within a structured Page Object Model framework
- Supporting API testing with tools such as Postman
- Investigating issues, debugging failures and contributing to smoother releases
- Participating in stand-ups and engaging with cross-functional teams
This is an automation-first role, with occasional manual support where required.
Required Skills
- Strong C# programming experience
- Good working knowledge of SpecFlow / Reqnroll
- UI automation experience using Selenium WebDriver
- Experience working inside a POM framework
- Ability to debug both UI and API issues
- Strong attention to detail and clean code practices
Beneficial:
