Avanti Recruitment is working with an established technology company looking for a Junior ASIC Test Engineer to join its R ll work in a hands-on laboratory environment, testing and characterising complex ASICs, investigating unexpected results and working closely with experienced ASIC design engineers. The role could suit either a strong Electronic/Electrical Engineering graduate with practical laboratory experience, or someone with 1-2 years of electronics testing experience looking to move into ASICs. The role: * Testing and characterisation of ASICs * Using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other laboratory test equipment * Troubleshooting unexpected results and hardware behaviour * Developing and improving test methods * Analysing measurement data * Test automation and data processing * Working closely with ASIC design engineers We re looking for: * Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar * Hands-on electronics testing experience * Experience using electronic test equipment * Good troubleshooting and analytical skills * Python, MATLAB or LabVIEW would be beneficial Previous ASIC or semiconductor experience is not essential.
