We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to support a major M&A infrastructure integration programme.

This is a highly hands-on position where you will help stabilise, migrate and integrate a legacy IT environment into a large enterprise infrastructure.

You will work across servers, virtualisation, networking, storage, backups and data migration, while ensuring changes are delivered securely and with minimal disruption.

The Role

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting and migrating Windows Server and Dell infrastructure
  • Managing VMware and/or Hyper-V environments
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki networking
  • Managing VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules and network segmentation
  • Supporting Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Managing QNAP/NAS storage
  • Planning and executing server and data migrations
  • Racking, unracking, cabling and legacy infrastructure decommissioning
  • Producing technical documentation and migration plans
  • Acting as a senior escalation point for infrastructure issues
  • Providing knowledge transfer and support to junior engineers

What We're Looking For

You will need strong hands-on experience with

  • Windows Server
  • Dell server hardware
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
  • QNAP or similar NAS/storage technologies
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and routing
  • Infrastructure and data migrations

Previous experience working on M&A integrations, infrastructure transformation or large-scale migration programmes would be highly advantageous.

Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, cloud environments, Saa S tenant migrations or Linux would also be beneficial.
