About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield. This role will focus on maintaining and improving electrical systems across a medium to heavy engineering environment and would suit a hands-on maintenance electrician with strong fault-finding abilities and practical PLC experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance across electrical systems and manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a safe and timely manner
  • Work on motors, drives, control panels, instrumentation and distribution systems
  • Support fault finding and modifications on Siemens PLC-controlled equipment
  • Assist with electrical installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
  • Complete maintenance documentation and update CMMS records
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures and electrical regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Time-served electrician with Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a medium to heavy engineering or industrial environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment
