About the Role
We are seeking a Contract Manufacturing Engineer to support the introduction of new production equipment and operational capability within a growing engineering environment. This role will focus on equipment implementation, process readiness, and supporting the expansion of manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support installation, setup, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment
- Coordinate operational and facility-related activities linked to production capability
- Assist with validation, process improvement, and manufacturing readiness activities
- Produce manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process guidance
- Support health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and contractor coordination
- Liaise with suppliers and external vendors during equipment and project activities
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams within a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering environments
- Background supporting equipment implementation or process improvement activities
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and engineering documentation
- Ability to manage multiple technical activities simultaneously
- Hands-on and proactive engineering mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience within specialist manufacturing, industrial technology, electronics, or regulated production environments would be beneficial
