Avanti Recruitment is supporting a fintech client in their search for a contract Full-Stack Engineer to help rebuild complex Excel-based workflows into lightweight, cloud-hosted web applications. The tech stack is lean and purposeful: Python (Flask), JavaScript (vanilla with Bootstrap, Tabulator, and Plotly), and PostgreSQL.
Key responsibilities:
- Rebuilding spreadsheet-heavy workflows as performant, web-based tools
- Developing Flask APIs and dynamic UIs using JavaScript and data visualisation libraries
- Structuring and transforming data using pandas, openpyxl, and pydantic
- Writing and tuning advanced PostgreSQL queries, including work with JSONB
