We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative technology business developing cutting-edge industrial sensing technology used by manufacturers around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join a growing R&D team working on the next generation of intelligent sensor technology. You'll play a key role across the full product development lifecycle, from circuit design and PCB development through to embedded firmware, testing and product validation. Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to genuinely innovative products while enjoying a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. You'll only need to attend the Birmingham office once a fortnight on a Friday for team meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience in areas such as:
- Analogue and digital electronics.
- PCB design and layout.
- Circuit design and simulation.
- Embedded firmware development.
- C programming.
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
- Design for manufacture.
- EMC awareness.
- Altium or KiCad.
- Experience with any of the following would also be advantageous:
- ATEX design.
- Environmental testing standards.
- Siemens S7 PLCs.
- STM32 microcontrollers.
- Xilinx Zynq devices.
- Linux development.
