Avanti Recruitment is on the lookout for a Junior – Mid Level .NET Developer to join a small, growing company where you'll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers and contribute to a modern cloud-based SaaS platform. This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years' commercial development experience who wants to work with the latest technology; .NET, Azure, Vue, AI-assisted Development (Claude Code), Azure DevOps, and SQL Server. Rather than simply picking up tickets from a backlog, you'll be encouraged to understand the product, contribute ideas and become involved in technical discussions as your experience grows. The business is small and deliberately lean, meaning developers have plenty of visibility across the product and can see the impact of the features they build. You'll work in a collaborative and supportive team, where you'll have access to experienced technical leadership whilst still being given autonomy to solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining applications using C# / .NET Core
- Developing new features across a cloud-based SaaS platform
- Working with Vue/TypeScript on front-end functionality
- Building / Integrating REST APIs
- Working with Azure services and cloud-hosted applications
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Using AI coding tools to support development and improve productivity
Essential Skills
- Commercial experience with .NET Core
- Experience with a modern front-end (Vue/React/Angular)
- REST APIs
- Some experience using AI tools (Claude / CoPilot)
- Previous SaaS or Product experience
Experience with Azure or cloud-based applications would be beneficial.
