Avanti Recruitment is supporting a well-established aviation engineering organisation in the search for an experienced B1 Licensed Engineer. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a busy maintenance environment supporting a diverse range of aircraft operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, inspections, repairs and modifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis across aircraft systems and components.
  • Certify maintenance work and support aircraft release-to-service activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and support teams to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality and compliance procedures.
  • Promote high engineering standards and a positive safety culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
  • One or more relevant fixed-wing aircraft type ratings.
  • Proven experience within a Part-145 maintenance environment.
  • Experience carrying out certification and release-to-service activities.
