We're recruiting a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a specialist technology company developing advanced sensing and measurement systems. This is a senior, hands-on role with significant technical ownership. You'll work on SoC-FPGA platforms, developing the embedded software that sits between ARM processors, FPGA programmable logic and complex measurement systems.
The Role:
- Embedded Linux development in C/C++
- ARM / SoC development
- Processor-to-FPGA integration
- AXI, DMA, interrupts and memory-mapped I/O
- Low-level interfaces and drivers
- High-speed data acquisition and processing
- Porting MATLAB/Python algorithms into embedded C/C++
- Signal processing and hardware/software co-design
What We're Looking For:
- Strong commercial experience with:
- Embedded Linux, ideally PetaLinux or Yocto
- C/C++
- ARM-based embedded systems
- Low-level hardware/software integration
- FPGA-connected systems
- Experience with Zynq UltraScale+, signal processing, device drivers, Edge AI or industrial/test-and-measurement systems would be particularly valuable
