Join our multi-award winning team and become part of our family run business which very much has our carers at the heart. We are recruiting for caring and compassionate Female Homecare Assistants who are already in the UK and seeking Sponsorship. Due to the nature of the role involving personal care and to meet the needs and preferences of our female clients, this post is open to female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

We are based in Derbyshire and have branches in Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Ripley.

Key Responsibilities of a Homecare Assistant:

  • Providing care and support to individuals living in their own home to a high standard
  • Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed
  • Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry
  • Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate times
  • Administering and organising medication
  • Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care
  • Completing visit notes that are detailed, accurate and true.

Requirements and Expectations:

  • This post is open to female applicants only due to the nature of the role involving personal care.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ care experience
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car or a UK Driving Licence and access to a Motorbike or Moped
  • To practice empathy within the workplace
  • Team player with good listening skills
  • Positive attitude towards work and colleagues

  • Full time rota pattern - minimum of 37.5 guaranteed weekly hours.
  • Competitive rates of pay: £13.40 per hour - including weekdays and weekends - plus £2.10 per house that you visit
