Avanti House is seeking a committed Teacher of Mathematics to join our thriving and inclusive school community. Avanti House Secondary School is a thriving school in Stanmore, Harrow. “In addition to achieving well academically, pupils are very well supported to develop more widely. What will you do?
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that secures strong progress, attainment, and positive behaviour for all pupils.
- Plan, differentiate, and assess effectively, using data and feedback to support individual needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Create a safe, respectful learning environment, modelling high standards of conduct and promoting pupils’ wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external partners to support pupils’ development and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Uphold professional standards, engage in ongoing development, and fulfil statutory duties in line with the Teachers’ Standards and school policies.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

- Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
- QTS qualified
