Avanti Fields School is seeking eight reliable and well-organised individuals to join our team as Exam Invigilators. In this important role, you will help ensure that examinations run smoothly, securely, and fairly, providing students with the calm and supportive environment they need to perform at their best. You will work closely with our Examinations Officer and wider school team, gaining valuable experience within a professional and caring school setting. Full training will be provided, and you will be part of a welcoming community that values integrity, teamwork, and dedication.
What will you do?
- Support the Examinations Officer with the set-up, organisation, and smooth running of all examination sessions.
- Ensure exam materials are distributed correctly and candidate registers, seating plans, and attendance records are accurately maintained.
- Supervise candidates throughout examinations, maintaining a calm, secure, and fair testing environment in line with JCQ regulations.
- Manage any queries, irregularities, or late arrivals appropriately, following exam procedures at all times.
- Collect, collate, and return examination papers securely, ensuring venues are left tidy and ready for the next session.
