About us and the role

Avanti Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to join Avanti Court Primary School as a Spiritual Wellbeing Lead.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting the emotional and spiritual development of children and adults.

The postholder will represent and embody the Avanti ethos through their conduct, nurturing the school’s values through programmes and daily interactions. They will offer listening space, guidance, and spiritual wisdom to staff and parents—via 1:1s, discussion groups, workshops, and training.

They will also support the Senior Leadership Team in responding to external events that affect pupils and school life, helping to foster a calm, compassionate environment.

This role is key to deepening the school’s spiritual ethos and embedding the Avanti Way in everyday practice.

What will you do?

• Foster the holistic development of students and staff—emotionally, spiritually, and mentally—aligned with the school’s ethos and values.

• Offer one-to-one emotional and spiritual wellbeing support, while facilitating reflective discussion groups for pupils, staff, and parents.

• Collaborate with teaching, pastoral, and inclusion teams to enhance the school’s overall wellbeing and chaplaincy provision.

• Plan and deliver assemblies, immersive workshops, and community outreach activities, while creating meaningful wellbeing resources.

• Develop and evaluate the chaplaincy programme, supporting the induction of new members and contributing to a spiritually nurturing school culture.
