As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll contribute to lesson planning, deliver engaging support programs, and take the lead in classroom settings when required. What will you do?- Be responsible for implementing systems of observation and record keeping so that children’s progress and achievements are effectively and regularly assessed and to monitor the effectiveness of assessment procedures.
- Support pupils with special educational needs through the delivery of specific learning programmes to contribute to setting individual education plan (IEHCP) targets and to reviews.
- Support the evaluation of pupils’ progress using a range of assessment techniques.
- Meet the personal needs of pupils whilst encouraging their independence.

- Experience of working with children with additional learning needs
- Ability to observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on pupils' progress
- In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements for the provision of care for children aged three to five years
