Avanti Court is seeking a skilled and motivated Learning Coach to support teaching and learning across our primary phase. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality classroom support, leading targeted interventions, and helping pupils to access a broad and engaging curriculum. You will work with children with a range of needs, adapting your approach to ensure every pupil can thrive both academically and personally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education, pupil development and building positive relationships. The successful candidate will contribute to a supportive, values-led and ambitious learning environment, where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. What will you do?
- Provide flexible in-class, small group and one-to-one support to enable all pupils to access a broad and inclusive curriculum.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, adapting approaches to meet individual needs, including those with SEND or English as an additional language.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, leaders and external professionals to deliver targeted interventions and contribute to pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Promote positive behaviour, social and emotional development, and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times.
- Engage with families, contribute to the wider school community, and take an active role in ongoing professional development.

- Evidence of strong communication skills; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills.
- An understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities.
- An ability to understand the principles of child development and learning processes and in particular barriers to learning.
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
