What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prep fresh ingredients – fruits, vegetables, and more
  • Assist with meal preparation and support our Cook/Head Chef
  • Serve meals and ensure mealtimes are enjoyable for residents
  • Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe, and hygienic
  • Follow food hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards every day
  • Help plan menus with input from residents
  • Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy

About You:

  • Environmental Health Certificate in Food Hygiene (essential)
  • Team player with a positive, flexible attitude
  • Experience in a similar role and/or City & Guilds qualification (desirable)
  • Passion for making meals that bring joy to others
