Your Role as a Field Care Supervisor

  • Personalised Care Planning: Develop, review, and adapt bespoke care plans aligned with each client’s needs and preferences, ensuring they are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Client Assessments & Introductions: Conduct warm, friendly home visits to prospective clients, ensuring a seamless transition into our care community.
  • Quality & Compliance Oversight: Maintain accurate records of care delivery, medication administration, and client updates to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality service.
  • Family & Advocate Engagement: Keep families informed and involved, providing regular updates and reassurance.
  • Team Supervision & Development: Support, mentor, and supervise care staff to deliver outstanding, person-centered home care.

Enhancing Client Wellbeing & Independence

  • Encourage Social & Emotional Wellbeing: Support clients to stay active, connected, and engaged within their community.
  • Emotional Support & Reassurance: Assist clients and their loved ones in understanding health and emotional changes, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Safeguarding & Safety: Uphold safeguarding standards, promote dignity, and ensure a safe environment in all home visits.

Effective Communication & Monitoring

  • Regular Wellbeing Checks: Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting care plans to meet evolving needs.
  • Emergency Response: Participate in on-call rota, providing rapid support for urgent situations outside of regular hours. Weekend out of hours Friday 5pm to Monday 9am - paid.
  • Clear Record-Keeping: Ensure all documentation is accurate, secure, and up-to-date.
  • Community Engagement: Represent our organisation at local events, strengthening community ties and attracting new referrals.

What You Bring

  • Experience: At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within the home care sector.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willing to progress from Level 2 within six months). Eden Alternative or equivalent training (or willing to undertake).
  • Proven experience: in caring for clients with diverse needs.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence: and own vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Passionate about person-centered, respectful care. Ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
