We are looking for a proactive Talent Officer to lead full 360 recruitment. At Avante, we put our residents and service users first and are building communities where everyone has a vibrant and fulfilling life. Working within the People & Organisation Development Team, your role in ensuring we attract, develop and retain people is so important and you will be making a huge difference.

You’ll manage the whole hiring journey, from advert and candidate sourcing to interviews, offers and employment contracts, whilst complying with all relevant employment legislation. You’ll also guide new starters through onboarding, background checks, and compliance, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone. Plus, you’ll ensure timely issuing of contract changes, maintain our recruitment systems and support managers with vacancy planning and feedback.

About You

  • HR/recruitment experience, ideally covering end-to-end hiring and onboarding
  • Good knowledge of recruitment best practice and HR legislation pertaining to recruitment
  • Organisational skills to handle multiple priorities
  • Good communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Ideally experienced in using ATS and HR systems
