As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll help create delicious, nutritious meals that brighten residents’ days while supporting a warm , welcoming dining experience .
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Prep fresh ingredients – fruits, vegetables, and more
- Assist with meal preparation and support our Cook/Head Chef
- Serve meals and ensure mealtimes are enjoyable for residents
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, safe, and hygienic
- Follow food hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards every day
- Help plan menus with input from residents
- Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy
About You
- Team player with a positive, flexible attitude
- Experience in a similar role and/or City & Guilds qualification (desirable)
- Passion for making meals that bring joy to others
