Relief Kitchen Assistant - Weybourne, Abbey Wood
Avante Care & Support is a well-established charity, enhancing the lives of over 1,000 older adults through our nursing and dementia care homes. We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Weybourne in Abbey Wood.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vegetables, fruits, and assist with meal preparation.
- Set tables, serve meals, and assist with clean-up.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure kitchen areas are clean and food is prepared safely.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and attend relevant training.
What We're Looking For
- Enthusiastic with a passion for cooking.
- A team player with a caring attitude towards older people.
- Experience in food hygiene and knowledge of safety regulations is a plus.
