We are seeking an experienced Interim Employee Relations Lead to join our team on a three‑month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident ER professional to provide expert guidance, manage complex employee relations cases, and support key people initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Role Description
This is a contract‑based hybrid position as an Employee Relations Consultant, with flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. The consultant will manage sensitive investigations, handle employee grievances, ensure compliance with employment law, support organisational change processes, and foster a positive workplace culture. The consultant will also assist in developing and implementing HR policies and strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge
- Expertise in Employee Relations, including managing grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
- Strong understanding of Employment Law and applying best practices for compliance and legal frameworks.
- Previous experience of conducting safeguarding investigations.
- Experience of writing credible investigation reports.
- Good understanding of statutory safeguarding guidance as it applies to adult social care.
- Proficiency in policy development and writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support constructive dialogues and outcomes.
- Problem‑solving abilities with experience in conducting workplace investigations and delivering practical solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site and remote work responsibilities.
- CIPD qualification and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations is highly desired.
- Familiarity with the healthcare or social care sector is advantageous.
