Location: Wain House, Westgate‑on‑sea
Pay: £12.75
Hours: 20 Hours Contract or 30 Hours Contract
About the Wain House: We are proud to have opened Wain House, a beautifully designed, purpose‑built home providing exceptional residential and dementia care. We are now recruiting for a range of roles to support our growing resident capacity. This is a unique opportunity to join from the very beginning and help shape a warm, welcoming home where residents, families, and staff feel truly supported and valued.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and infection control at all times
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Replenish supplies and report any maintenance issues
- Use cleaning equipment safely and correctly
- Support a welcoming, comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- Work in line with health and safety regulations and care home policies
About You:
- Previous cleaning or domestic experience (desirable)
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable, punctual, and well‑organised
- A caring and respectful approach when working in a home environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
