Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of older individuals and their families? At Avante Care & Support, we are a Registered Charity dedicated to supporting over 1,000 older people through our renowned nursing and dementia care homes, as well as our compassionate home care services. As a not-for-profit organization, we pride ourselves on our strong and experienced workforce, committed to providing personalized care and support that enriches lives.
Role Overview
As a vital member of our care team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to:
- Provide Companionship: Foster meaningful connections and promote independence for those in your care.
- Assist with Personal Care: Support clients with daily activities such as washing and dressing, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Medication Management: Help clients manage their medications effectively and safely.
- Light Household Tasks: Assist with essential chores to create a comfortable living space.
What We’re Looking For
While previous experience in care is a plus, it’s not essential. We offer comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. We are looking for individuals who are:

- Flexible: Available to work alternate weekends and adapt to shifting needs.
- Ready to Learn: Willing to engage in a four-day training program to prepare you for your role.
- Driving License: Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle (this is desirable but not mandatory).

Job Details
- Job Types: Permanent, Zero Hours Contract
- Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including day shifts, Monday to Sunday

7am – 2pm Break 4pm to 8pm
