We're looking for a Marketing Lead for Make-Ready Editions, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This is the first dedicated marketing hire on the platform, with broad ownership of marketing and a remit to grow the business into a multi-million euro platform. This is a player‑coach role. For the first phase you'll be hands‑on across paid, CRM, content, social and brand, making the calls and doing the work. As the platform grows, you'll build and lead the team underneath you.

We really do encourage everyone to proactively step outside of their job description if they see something that could be improved, but the core of your role will involve:

  • Collection Launches with Contemporary Printmakers: Own the marketing of our exclusive collections with contemporary printmakers end to end, from positioning and campaign planning through to execution across our channels and the artist's own audience. Build strong working relationships with artists and their teams, coordinate joint content and announcements, and make each drop land. Develop a repeatable launch playbook as the collection programme grows.
  • Paid Acquisition: Own Meta, Google and emerging paid social. Build a structured testing framework and manage the accounts directly. Drive CAC down while scaling spend, with payback and contribution margin in mind.
  • CRM, Lifecycle and Retention: Own email, segmentation and the full post‑purchase journey. Turn first‑time buyers into collectors through thoughtful lifecycle programmes. Work closely with the content and editorial programme to keep the CRM calendar rich.
  • Content, Editorial, SEO, Brand and Social: Shape the editorial voice and content programme for Make‑Ready Editions. Build organic search into a meaningful acquisition channel. Develop the brand story, land cultural partnerships and earn coverage in the publications our audience reads. Grow an organic presence on Instagram and beyond that feels native to the category.
  • Performance, Analytics and Team: Build the measurement stack and report clearly to the business. Know what's working, what isn't, and why. Identify and hire the team needed to support the plan as the platform grows.

The main skills we're looking for are:

  • Multi‑channel DTC marketing execution: fluent across paid, CRM, content, brand and social.
  • Strong commercial instincts, thinking in CAC, LTV, contribution margin and payback.
  • Hands‑on ability in paid ad platforms and email/CRM tools.
  • Taste and craft: you can brief creative to a high bar and recognise when it's there.
  • Comfortable working with artists and external partners, holding your own with creative talent.
  • Analytical rigour: you build your own dashboards rather than wait for someone else to.
  • A strong point of view: you challenge briefs, push back constructively, and bring ideas we haven't thought of.

We think you'll probably have:

  • 4–6 years in a senior IC marketing role with demonstrable ownership of growth outcomes.
  • A DTC or ecommerce background where you've scaled a consumer brand online.
  • Experience running paid social and lifecycle programmes at meaningful budget.
  • Bonus: experience in art, design, premium lifestyle, interiors or another taste‑led category.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Shopify and the modern DTC tooling ecosystem.
  • Bonus: experience managing agencies, freelancers or direct reports.

Don't meet every single requirement? Avant Arte is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic team so we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Benefits include:

  • Generous equity allowance.
  • Private Healthcare (UK).
  • Enhanced pension contributions and parental leave policies.
  • 25 days of holiday plus four extra company‑wide days.
  • L&D budget of €1000 per year per employee.
  • Regular company socials.
  • Art loan scheme for employees.
