About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Manager to establish and spearhead the commercial growth of our automation solutions portfolio. This is a strategic role for an ambitious individual who thrives at the intersection of new technology and collaboration – combining strong technical expertise with the drive to shape the future of automation within our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Automation Solutions Sales: Identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and deliver innovative, value-driven automation solutions across multiple sectors.
  • Technical Depth Across Systems: Leverage your knowledge of various automation systems—hardware, software, PLCs, robotics, control systems—and their integration to create cohesive, high-performance solutions.
  • Bridge Technology and Commercial Value: Translate technical concepts into clear business benefits, enabling stakeholders to understand ROI and strategic advantage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to design and deliver robust, client-focused solutions.
  • Strategic, Consultative Selling: Use collaborative sales strategies to uncover customer pain points, co-develop solutions, and build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with clients, senior leaders, engineers, managers and customer teams to influence decisions and guide projects from concept to completion.
  • Team Building & Future Leadership: As the automation division grows, take a leading role in building and developing your own team, establishing best practices, and helping shape future strategy.
