Avant Healthcare is a domiciliary care provider that places care and support workers with families who require their services in their local community. We are looking for Care and support workers with compassion and kindness. This specific package is for long hours (12 hours shifts) in Hounslow.

Below are the customer's requirements and expectations:

  • Are you physically fit to transfer a client who is 6 feet tall and weighs about 70 kg (Approx)? He has no movement from the neck down, so he will need to be transferred using the Hoist machine.
  • Carers need to be prepared to dress the client and get him ready for his hospital and GP appointments.
  • Shopping and cooking are involved; the carer needs to be prepared to cook meals.
  • Carer needs to manage his appointments and daily schedules and always stay on top of this.
  • You are required to provide physiotherapy exercises to the customer once a day.
  • Customer is completely bed-bound.
  • Customer requires a breathing device during night shifts.
  • Customer requires a clean environment, would like to have the carer to always be active around the house.

Care calls are long hours. We can provide you with up to 12 hours shift.

Carer Requirements:

  • Proof Right to work In the UK
  • Comfortable travelling to different houses delivering care (No Car required)
  • Valid DBS check
  • Good written and spoken English language
  • Reliable and trustworthy as lone working is required
  • Have a caring and nurturing personality
  • Passion and commitment to provide outstanding care
