Avant Homes is a housebuilder operating in Scotland, the North East of England, across Yorkshire and the East and West Midlands. With an expanding portfolio, we are looking for passionate individuals to contribute to our mission of providing affordable homes.
Responsible for daily liaison with customers over the phone and via email, answering queries, troubleshooting and offering solutions while maintaining our high service standards.
Key Duties and Requirements- Monitor and ensure all calls and emails are allocated and managed appropriately, logging issues to the relevant system.
- Take ownership of queries and resolve issues, serving as the first escalation point.
- Deputise for the Head of Customer Service, providing leadership to the wider administration team.
- Liaise between site management teams, Customer Service Technicians, and external subcontractors to ensure remedial works are completed efficiently, in accordance with NHBC Buildmark Warranty, company SLA's, and NHQC.
- Maintain reasonable timescales for customers regarding remediation works, keeping them informed throughout.
- Provide administrative support to the wider Customer Service team.
- Raise POs, invoices and process payments.
- Prepare, collate, and provide reports for the Head of Customer Service.
- Monitor the escalated complaints portal, ensuring adherence to NHQC and Avant internal processes.
- Daily monitor outstanding works for all developments, assess and address issues, ensuring they are resolved per company SLA's and NHQC.
- Previous experience effectively dealing with customer communications and complaints in a customer-service environment.
- Strong administrative skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- ‘Can do’ attitude and troubleshooting approach.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Basic understanding of housebuilding or related industry experience.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
