What does being a Care Assistant involve?
- Personal Care such as assisting with showering/bathing, dressing, medication etc.
- Practical Support such as laundry, cleaning, preparing and cooking meals and taking people out to the shops, doctors or social events.
- Specialized Care - Supporting people with specialist needs.
- Helping clients with their everyday duties.
- Managing different medical conditions like dementia, autism, challenging behaviour.
- Household duties, cooking, cleaning and general running of their home.
Requirements:
- Proof Right to work in the UK.
- Comfortable travelling to different houses delivering care (No Car required).
- Good written and spoken English language.
- Reliable and trustworthy as lone working is required.
- Have a caring and nurturing personality.
- Passion and commitment to provide outstanding care.
