We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work for a company based in Felixstowe.
Salary & Terms
Salary between £35,000 - £40,000 a year depending on experience. Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate transportation and distribution activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Analyze transportation routes and optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, including delays, damages, or shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transportation activities using logistics management software.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements
