Jewellery CAD Designer

We are looking for a Jewellery CAD Designer to join a renowned jewelry design studio known for its exquisite craftsmanship and unique creations, located in Manchester.

Salary & Terms

• Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Salary between £35,000 – £40,000 a year depending on experience
• Work in a creative and collaborative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and the design team to understand their vision for custom jewelry.
• Use CAD software to create detailed 3D jewelry design renderings and models.
• Assist in the selection of gemstones and materials to match the client\’s preferences.
• Provide design recommendations and solutions to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of jewelry pieces.
• Work closely with master jewelers to ensure the accurate translation of CAD designs into finished jewelry.
• Create prototypes and samples for client approval.
• Maintain organized design files and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging CAD technologies.
• Participate in client consultations and design presentations.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in jewelry CAD design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, CAD Jewellery Design).
• Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping is a plus.
