Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and models using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI
- Build model-based and exploratory automated tests to validate business-critical workflows
- Execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites across multiple platforms (Web, Desktop, Mobile, Citrix, Mainframe)
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Integrate Eggplant automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab)
- Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and automation frameworks
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business processes and risk-based testing strategies
- Produce clear test reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Support UAT and production validation where required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Hands-on experience with Eggplant Functional (SenseTalk scripting)
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and QA methodologies
- Experience in functional, regression, and system testing
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to analyze business processes and convert them into automated test scenarios
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- SenseTalk scripting (Eggplant)
- Windows / Web / Client-Server applications
- CI/CD integration experience
- Version control tools (Git, Bitbucket)
- Basic SQL for data validation (good to have)
