Responsibilities:
- Identifies, publishes and communicates strategic technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmaps to guide technology decisions and leverage efficiency opportunities.
- Analyses the impact of implementing new technologies into the IT infrastructure.
- Assists Solution Architects, Product specialists and Project Managers in matching technology services to specific business services and ensures technology roadmap is aligned in Dev projects.
- Responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of a robust, scalable solution.
- Evaluates and represents solution options in Architecture Review Board and obtains approval for the best identified solution for implementation.
- Sets up architecture best practices and collaborates with Business, IT and 3rd party product vendors to align the program objectives and achieve set critical goals.
- Conducts system assessments and identifies areas for optimization and improvement.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of AWS gateway/integration methodologies, APIs, and data migration strategies.
- Solution Architecture expertise and knowledge with a consulting mindset.
- Experienced Solution Architect, with previous experience as a Technical Architect.
- Strong Solution Architectural experience in medium to large scale transformation programs preferred with approx. 8-9+ years of relevant experience as Solution Architect.
- Experience in driving architecture strategy forward, application integration, governance model, security roadmaps, Application hosting in AWS Cloud platform, software design.
- Working experience in Agile model and in multi-supplier environment.
- Understanding of Utilities industry needed.
- Excellent articulation and presentation skills needed to collaborate with Senior Leadership and stakeholders.
Experience required:
- 5+ years of relevant Solution Architect experience.
- 10-12 years of overall experience.
