We are seeking a skilled and experienced JDE World Technical Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of JD Edwards World ERP applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in RPG programming, JDE World toolset, and a deep understanding of business processes across various modules.
Your role as a JDE World Technical Consultant is responsible for technical development, customization, and support of JD Edwards World ERP applications. This role involves working within the IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment, using RPG and CL programming languages to deliver solutions that meet business needs across various functional areas. You will need to anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Responsibilities:
- At least 10 years of Information Technology experience.
- 8+ years of experience in JDE World software with RPG/CL coding program knowledge/skill set as a technical consultant.
- Should have knowledge of RPG400, CL400, RPGILE languages and be well versed with RDBMS, DB2/400, and OS400 concepts.
- Strong in developing applications and reports using JDE World tools.
- Very well conversant with the development tools on the JDE World software and have worked extensively with SVR, SDA, RDA, FTP, Dream Writer.
