We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Supervisor to manage a team of up to 6 Payroll Advisors. The role involves leading team meetings, conducting 1:1s, and allocating work to ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Payroll Manager in overseeing all aspects related to people, processes, and technology.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are regularly reviewed, updated, and adhered to by the team.
- Actively participate in processing weekly and monthly payroll for UK employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage work allocation, payroll queries, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain compliance with payroll tax laws and regulations, specifically for Ireland and HMRC.
- Handle payroll escalations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with the Time and Attendance team and local HR teams to ensure accurate information submission.
- Promote strong team collaboration and achieve related objectives.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in managing a payroll team.
- Proficiency in SAP Payroll software.
- Strong understanding of UK payroll tax laws and HMRC regulations.
