We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Supervisor to manage a team of up to 6 Payroll Advisors. The role involves leading team meetings, conducting 1:1s, and allocating work to ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll Manager in overseeing all aspects related to people, processes, and technology.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are regularly reviewed, updated, and adhered to by the team.
  • Actively participate in processing weekly and monthly payroll for UK employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage work allocation, payroll queries, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with payroll tax laws and regulations, specifically for Ireland and HMRC.
  • Handle payroll escalations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the Time and Attendance team and local HR teams to ensure accurate information submission.
  • Promote strong team collaboration and achieve related objectives.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in managing a payroll team.
  • Proficiency in SAP Payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll tax laws and HMRC regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
